Artist's Description

The eagle and the wolf on the Turtle's back is carved out of fossilized mammoth ivory. This is one of the first pieces I made with the Turtle's position turned to the right by 45 degrees. It was the best way to compliment the direction of the Eagle and Wolf.

About Douglas Limon

Douglas Limon

I am an enrolled member of "the" Oneida Nation and a descendent of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. My mother taught me how to bead on a loom at the age of five.
